I never thought we would be writing about maternity fashion brands, but here we are! To be honest, it has been an interesting time to be pregnant throughout quarantine, and there are times where I have definitely been very grateful that I haven’t had to run around NYC to studios in 6 inch heels and an entire outfit! I have been loving athleisure and being comfortable, but still love getting dressed up. It’s also hard for me to invest in maternity clothes, in knowing that my body will be changing again, so sites like Rent the Runway, ASOS and H&M have been a godsend.

Here are some of the brands we’ve been loving - would love to hear what maternity brands you’ve been gravitating towards-

XO,

Brittney

Bumpsuit

Looking for everyday comfy chic essentials? Bumpsuit has got you covered. All their styles are perfect for staying in, being comfortable throughout the day, or for needing to leave and run a few errands. Your basic overall essentials to wear throughout your pregnancy.

Hatch Collection

Hatch has an array of clothing options. The line is ideal if you happen to be working at your office, or even if you need great “dressed up on top” pieces for Zoom calls. I also have had some girlfriends wear some of their gorgeous evening wear pieces to weddings. My personal faves - the Ryan Dress, the Riviera Dress in Marigold and the Jo Sweater in Oatmeal.

Ripe

Ripe has a little bit of everything. The site offers great options for loungewear, streetwear, and cute pieces for a night out (who knows when we will see those again!), but overall are dedicated to making women feel confident, stylish and comfortable in their journey through motherhood. If you’re looking for nursing tops- they also offer cute options with more of a stylish edge, like the one below , and if you’re still wearing jeans- they have a great assortment in different styles, making it easy to find your go-to pair.

ASOS MATERNITY
Known for trendy pieces at low prices, ASOS Maternity should be one of your first stops for the best maternity clothes that won’t break the bank. Whether you’re looking for a jumpsuit, an asymmetrical swimsuit or a dress to wear for a special occasion, you’ll find on-trend, fashionable maternity clothes that you can wear and toss without guilt.

Average price range: $25 to $80 (with a few more expensive formal dresses)

Plus, they have an amazing return policy- You can return any item for a refund within 28 days of receiving your original order, including sale items.

Rent The Runway Unlimited

What isn't there to love about Rent the Runway. While I’m not shopping normally right now, it has been the perfect resource for me for shows and select outfit items (the holidays, etc.) that have worked for my expanding bump. I sized up the leopard Rebecca Taylor dress that I wore on Wendy Williams and received so many nice compliments on. Pieces without an exact waistline that can flow on your body, seem to work the best for me.

Well known for their beautiful dress outfits, their maternity section also includes sweaters and formal jackets. If you’re like me and can’t fit into your winter coat, it’s a great place to size up!
