Wedding season is definitely back! One of my best friends is getting married in about a month, and in honor of her wedding, we put together some fun dress options from Black Tie to Day-Time Chic.

Regardless of what you’re wearing, I’m actually excited to get dressed up again to celebrate my friends, hit cocktail hour and get back on the dance floor!

BLACK TIE:

I love this gown for a black tie event. While I love wearing all black, I always try to resort to a color option when it’s a black tie dress code. For these types of events, Rent the Runway has the BEST options. If you’re not going to wear the long gown again, I find it so practical to rent a few choices to try on and send back post-wedding.

The Kira Dress

Fame and Partners has amazing dresses for all occasions. This dress has the cutest ruffled sleeves with a V-line chest and obsessed with the slit on the leg.

Thinking Out Loud Backless Jumpsuit

Personally, I love a good jumpsuit. This one from Lulu’s is under $100, and shows off your curves in all the right places - especially the open back!

This dress is ideal for an outdoor, backyard wedding. The floral pattern is super cute, great for spring/ summer time. I love these maxi dresses from Revolve, always a great site for different options!

Nikita Dress Reformation

Reformation is another one of my favorites sites when it comes to dresses. I’m not a huge floral person, but love this particular flirty option, especially the tied bows on the straps!

Revolve Tea Dress by Andrea Iglesias

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

The coral color and drapey design of this dress totally hits. On point for a cocktail party, and to take it up a notch, make sure to add a strappy heel.

ISLAND:

The Best Dress MuMu

This dress has six levels of ruched tiers giving a statuesque appearance to a fun and flowy maxi. The top band is elastic around the top, allowing you to leave the straps tied in a perfect bow or tucked in as a tube. If you’ve just had a baby (hi), the empire waistline is also elastic, making it comfortable to wear all night long.
